Feral Factory has a deep love of and commitment to the visual arts. Fine art, pop art, graphic design, and illustration—our aesthetic sensibilities cross into our events, performances, workshops, and our engagement with our community.
Art Exhibit: Urban Collage and the Collage City
From March through June of 2017, Feral Factory will be partnering with Kephart’s Crash Mile High and with the RiNo Art District. At the Crash, we are guest-curating an exhibit which will feature as many as 100 artists.
The exhibit’s theme, Urban Collage and the Collage City, will examine a spectrum of urban art, representing artists from local districts, the region, the nation, and the globe.
In March, we’ll open with a show for the Month of Photography, featuring the work of our own Shana Cordon, whose work is a taxonomy of urban markings. In April, we look at Radical Heterogeneity expressed through art. In May, it’ll be an examination of the arts resistance and resilience. Lastly, in June, the Crash will see the city as a theater of memory and a theater of prophecy.
